This is likely to be reflected even in supply chain transformation, such as introduction of more sustainable practices in supply chain operations such as delivering virgin fiber in China to pace up with the needs of renewable energy.
Apple has successfully entered into a novel agreement committed for a multi-year time frame with World Wildlife Fund to responsible forest management throughout China.
The agreement is dedicated to protect over 1 million acres of forests that are dedicated sources of wood, paper and pulp resources and Apple is committed to develop a zero environmental impact to meet with the growing demands of sustainable fiber resources.

Further, Apple as multi-national entity is entering into a commercial agreement with Leshan ELectric Power Co., SunPower Corporation, Sichuan Development Holding Co. These companies are bound to work in partnership across spacious solar farms to procure clean energy.
The amount anticipated is massive is likely to bolster power generation, sufficient to run over 60 thousand homes. Needless to say, the project is envisioned to accurately meet energy optimization to offset ecological impact.
