‘More Together’- a Campaign launched by Facebook telling Stories about Itself

‘More Together’ is the latest consumer marketing campaign launched by one of the largest social media company Facebook in India states the reports.

This campaign shows stories that are been highlighted presenting the power of connections on the platform states the company. It is largely focused on the Facebook Application as it is the beginning of such campaigns launched by Facebook in India as stated by the company.

The creative agency of Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) India with the concept and execution by Taproot Dentsu. This campaign mainly consists of advertisements in eight languages which is going to be aired across India in the next few weeks. The campaign is run as a 360 degree campaign which is going to be promoted on various mediums like radio, cinema, out of home and digital as mentioned before.

In the last few years, there have been many stories written by the users talking about various topics. There has been no story by Facebook telling about itself and they are in an aim to change that says Mr. Ajit Mohan, Facebook India managing director. He also states that they plan to reach out every part of India and the Facebook’s family of apps will be the main focus of this campaign.

The company will increase the investments for the purpose of promotions and marketing this year in India. They also plan to launch more such campaigns for the Facebook’s family of apps says Ajit Mohan.

Under this campaign, the first TV commercial was directed by Shimit Amin of Chak De which went on air on Saturday states the reports.
Dentsu Aegis Network India, the creative agency has its creative team led by Pallavi Chakravarti who wrote beautiful stories which people could connect with are inspired by real people on these social media platforms and talking about their journeys says Agnello Dias cofounder of Taproot Dentsu and the creative chairperson of Dentsu Aegis Network India.

Bharat Sikka created the out of home ads which have featured people who leveraged the power of Facebook to fuel their aspirations like Madhura Bachal from Madhuras Recipe, Paula McGlynn, Sanjyot Kheer from Your Food Lab, Kamiya Jani from Curly Tales, Chhavi Mittal and Mohit Hussein from SIT, Sarang Sathaye from BhaDiPa, Varun Pruthi and Maithili Thakur as stated by Ajit Mohan, the managing director.

In November 2019, Facebook updated its branding by introducing a new company logo which distinguish the company from the app and then moved towards this campaign.
