Microsoft to set up a Development Centre in Noida, India

Tech giant Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella stated a visit this month along with later an announcement of setting up a new development centre in Noida which is a facility in India that will serve as an engineering and innovation hub for the company.

In a statement, Microsoft’s says about the commitment to tap India’s world-class engineering talent to create solutions for an impact all over the globe and the development centre will build on.

The India Development Centre in Noida or as it is called as IDC-NCR promise to play a huge role in the expansion of Microsoft in India its growth history. This company will create employment and give great opportunities for many engineers and techies to do meaningful work that will have impact across the world and Microsoft will tap into the best engineering talent available in the country.

Microsoft plans to expand its development centre similar to the one in Noida, in the cities of Hyderabad and Bengaluru also said the report but They did not open up about the investments and wear about being made for setting up the centre.

The India Development Centre in Noida will be created as a base for the Microsoft’s other companies in India who take care of other processes and teams including various technology groups, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Research Group,  Core Services Engineering and Operations, Cloud and Enterprise Group, Experience & Devices Group as said by the statement from the company, along with Mixer- Microsoft’s live streaming gaming platform team which will become the first centre to host the gaming team outside the company headquarters in Redmond, United States.

Kurt DelBene, chairman of the IDC advisory board, and executive vice-president (corporate strategy, core services engineering and operations), expresses to be expanding themselves in Noida after building a strong engineering presence in India over the past two decades.
